Finally, Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X on March 15, featuring the famous Story Mode adventure and the ever-evolving world of GTA Online with next gen improvements and optimizations.
There will be new graphics modes featuring up to 4K Native resolution, a frame rate of up to 60 fps, improved texture quality, HDR options and ray tracing. Next gen console technical advancements will also be there, including faster loading times, 3D audio, and platform specific features such as DualSense haptic feedback.
The following are the three modes offered:
Minor details and improvements include: increased population and traffic variety, increased vegetation density, improved lighting quality across shadows, water reflections, and other elements. Plus improved anti-aliasing, motion-blur, highly detailed new explosions, fire, and much more.
Previous gen console owners can transfer their story mode progress and GTA Online characters to current gen consoles through a one-time migration for each.
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are coming out on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X on March 15, 2022. Preloading begins March 8, 2022 and physical copies are releasing sometime in April.
