Amazon today announced that Amazon Luna - Amazon's committed game streaming platform - is now available across the entire mainland United States.
Along with the expanded rollout, Amazon is adding a few new channels to the mix, allowing for even more options for subscription-based gaming. In the past, there was the primary Luna channel, which focuses primarily on high-end indie games, the Ubisoft+ channel, which has pretty much every Ubisoft epic every, and the Family channel, which focuses on kids' fare.
The big news on the channel front is the new Prime Gaming Channel, which will allow Prime members to play Luna for free with a rotating selection of games. For March, Prime members can play Devil May Cry 5; Observer: System Redux; PHOGS!; Flashback; and, from 3/8-3/14, Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Also available now are the Retro Channel, which features classic games from Capcom and SNK, and the Jackbox Games Channel, which has the full run of Jackbox Games (hard to believe there are enough to support a whole channel, but Jackbox just keeps cranking them out).
Luna has also added Twitch support, and players can now play on Fire TV using an iPhone or Android phone as a controller.
If you haven't checked Luna out, and you have a Prime membership, it seems like now is a perfect time.
