One of the many items shown off from the recent Nintendo Direct was the announcement of new tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. While not an official sequel some people (myself included) were hoping to see, this may in fact be better, for the time being. 48 new tracks will be added to the games current 32, and when all is said and done there will be a total of 80 tracks. Not all 48 tracks will be released at the same time. Instead six waves of eight tracks each will be released starting on March 18 and ending sometime in 2023.
You can purchase the pack for $24.99,however, if you are a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass member you will have access to all 48 courses as part of your subscription.
