It's been kinda a quiet few months for NVIDIA. We last reviewed the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti last June and while supply of video cards hasn't been good, NVIDIA hasn't announced anything other than some small silent releases such as the re-release of the RTX 2060 albeit with 12gb of ram.
Well, today at CES 2020, NVIDIA is upping their top tier with the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. Yup, the top of the line 30 series card is getting a bump to start 2022.
More than a year has past since the launch of the RTX 3090 and with the new year, the RTX 3090 Ti offers improvements over the RTX 3090 in these areas announced for now.
We're looking at:
Everything's a little more than the RTX 3090 except for the memory amount which stays the same. It sounds like we should get maybe around 10% more performance, but no specifics were given and of course, no one has it to test yet.
NVIDIA will be talking more about this card later this month, but expect it to be big, expect it to be fast, and expect it to be pretty expensive.
