While HyperX decided to skip CES this year, that didn't prevent them from announcing some new products for gamers.
Let's start with three new gaming headsets. The HyperX Cloud line gets bigger with a few new entries.
The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset boasts up to 300 hours of usage on a single charge of its lithium-polymer battery, which seems really insane when you think about it.Where a lot of the long lasting wireless headsets I've used run in the 20 hour range, the Cloud Alpha looks like it'll last more the 10X that. Featuring 50MM drivers and memory foam covered with a leatherette, the Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset also has a detachable noise-cancelling mic. It comes with a wireless dongle for low latency audio. You can expect to pick up a set in February for a price of $199.99.
For wires audio and some pink coloring, there's the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset. This wired headset features 53MM drivers and a control box that helps deliver 7.1 virtual surround sound that can be easily enabled with a button press. Gaming audio can be independently adjusted from the mic audio. Like the Cloud Alpha, the Cloud II also has memory foam leatherette cups for comfort. And for color, these come in white with a pink accent around the band, arms, and logo. A detachable noise-cancelling mic completes the offering and will be available in March for $99.99.
The last new headset announced is the HyperX Cloud Core Gaming Headset, which is your basic wired headset. It also has 53MM drivers and a detachable noise-cancelling mic. There's no control box with this one and it comes in the more traditional black with red HyperX logo. This one comes out the earliest of the three with a January release date and coming in at $69.99.
If you want a new keyboard, there's the HyperX Allow Origins 65 Mechanical Keyboard. This tenkeyless keyboard is made for small spaces. With the choice of HyperX Red linear switches or HyperX Aqua tactile switches, you'll get long lasting typing with switches rated for 80 million clicks. The exposed LED design allows for brighter illumination at five different levels. The design certainly looks like it'll be great if you're low on real estate on your desk. $99.99 will be the price of the Allow Origins 65 Mechanical Keyboard and it should be available in February.
To go along with a new keyboard, HyperX has the PulseFire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse. Coming in black or white, the mouse has numerous hexagons in the shell for some ventilation and can last up to 100 hours on a single charge. You connect the mouse to your computer via a dongle that operates at 2.4Ghz. Something interesting is the PulseFire Haste is water resistant and dust resistant with a rating of IPX55 so you can spill your drink on it and it should be alright. Grip tapes for either side and replacement feet are included in the package. You can nab a mouse in February for $79.99.
Finally, HyperX has a new wireless gaming controller called the HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller. You can connect to your mobile device using either Bluetooth 4.2 or with the included wireless dongle that connects at 2.4GHz. Not only that, but plug in the included USB-C to USB-A cable to the PC and you can use it with your computer wired as well. The Clutch has an Xbox controller like design and the included clip allows you to attach a phone to the controller or use it as a stand for the phone. HyperX says the Clutch can last up to 19 hours on a single charge, which is pretty good. It will be available in March for $49.99.
And there you have HyperX's CES 2022 lineup. There's something here for everyone from keyboards to mice to headsets to controllers. All of them will be out in the next few months so it won't be long before you can get your hands on the latest from HyperX.
