Razer has done watches in the past, which you might not remember. The Razer Nabu watch was an interesting offering that was just a little too large for my taste and at the time didn't offer the functionality of other smart watches I was interested in.
Razer is giving another go at watches but this run will be very limited and they are partnering with Fossil this time out. The Razer x Fossil watch is the Fossil Gen 6 Wear OS watch that will come with some Razer styled straps and Razer styled watch faces.
The Fossil Gen 6 watch has been out a few months and it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ SOC and has a 1.28inch AMOLED display with 1GB of ram and 8GB of storage. It will be running Wear OS 2 for now, but should be getting an upgrade to Wear OS 3 sometime this year. Currently, only the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has Wear OS 3.
One of the problems in previous Fossil smartwatches was that the charging ring underneath would lift away after a certain period of time. Mine didn't do that, but many reports can be viewed out there of it happening. Thankfully, the Gen 6 design solves this issue as well as making it charge faster.
There will be two straps coming in the package. One is a black strap with vertical grooves and the other is a more Razer colored green strap. The Fossil Gen 6 watches use standard 22mm watch bands so you can use your own if you don't like either of the offerings.
Pricing wise, it's $30 more than a regular Fossil Gen 6 coming in at $329.99. That isn't bad considering you're basically paying for an extra watch band and some custom watch faces. From reviews, the Gen 6 is a solid watch only hampered by the software running a version behind. Oh, and only 1337 of these units will be produced so if you want one they'll be in pretty limited supply. But like I said, it's a solid Wear OS watch if you're not looking to get an Apple based watch and it's got the Razer branding if you're into that as well.
