Games N Moorer's Joseph Moorer jumped into The Last Stand: Aftermath for a couple of hours last night. The new roguelike, now available on Steam for $24.99, puts players into the shoes of an infected survivor in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. For those that are accustomed to wicked fast roguelikes, The Last Stand: Aftermath offers a more deliberate pace that allows players to experience a more realistic and subdued experience. You don't die every two minutes, which makes it sting all the more when you do. That said, Joseph dies for the first time almost immediately. Pro tip: Don't turn on the lights in the middle of a zombie infested neighborhood.
After his initial downfall (which, to be fair, felt kinda scripted), Joseph takes the time to explore some of The Last Stand: Aftermath's mechanics. As usual, he provides a pretty solid overview of the game's systems, while doing his best not to get chomped.
The Last Stand: Aftermath is now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Consoles.
