Last August, 343 Industries announced that Halo Infinite faced development challenges and, thus, its release was pushed to December 2021 -- much to the chagrin of the Halo faithful (myself included).
Fifteen months later, we received another surprise announcement regarding Infinite's release. Except, this time it was good news. On Monday, in honor of Halo's 20th anniversary, 343 announced the early (and free) release of Infinite's first season of multiplayer.
Although I didn't get to participate on the initial day, I finally got a chance to slide into a Spartan suit once again.
And, I must say, I'm quite impressed -- and my enthusiasm for Infinite has been rekindled. Check out the trailer below.
