Gotham Knights has been delayed until next year, but we got some more look at the story from DC Fandom today. The Bat Family is out to take on the Court of Owls with both Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon no longer alive. Or so we are led to believe.
Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood, and Batgirl will be your playable characters for this game and it's going to emphasis co-op play. Remember, this game doesn't follow Batman Arkham Knight even though Bruce supposedly died in that one and Gotham Knights uses that story as part of the reason the rest of the Bat Family is pulled in.
So Gotham Knights is its own game and even though it's by WB Games Montreal who also developed Batman Arkham Origins. Funny enough, Suicide Squad is in the same universe as the Arkham series but this one isn't.
