Diablo II is a seminal entry in the action RPG genre and Resurrected is bring the game from the CRT monitors of old into 4k resolution with 7.1 Dolby Surround sound. The cinematic have been redone to take full advantage of this new fidelity despite the same engine proving the core gameplay experience as it did back 20 years ago in its original release.
Diablo II: Resurrected is available for PC via Battle.net, Xbox Series X|S and One, PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Switch. Cross progression can carry progress from any one system to another through Battle.net and there are number of other accessibility focused improvements:
All seven character classes have been faithfully redone and the game is available standalone for $39.99 or in the Diablo Prime Evil Collection for $59.99 which includes Diablo II: Resurrected, the Diablo III Eternal Collection which combines the base game with the Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Rise of the Necromancer content pack, and the Mephisto pet and Hatred’s Grasp wings for Diablo III.
