Techland announced today that Dying Light 2 Stay Human has been delayed by 2 months to a new release date of February 4th, 2022 from its original planned release date of December 7th, 2021.

The delay is explained in detail by Techland CEO Pawl Marchewka, as he mentions that the game is finished at this point but more time is needed for the team to play test and polish it ahead of launch. However, next month, both press and content creators will get preview builds of the game on both consoles and PC.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a post apocalyptic narrative driven open world action rpg, and the long awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed first game in 2015. This time, players will find themselves in the City, mankind's last stronghold in the fight against the undead. New parkour mechanics enable players to explore the open world while an arsenal of weapons allow for masterful tactical combat. The game will require creative approaches to finding items and crafting gear. Gameplay will feature day and night cycle, so players can raid lairs of infected at night and discover secrets during the day.

Dying Light 2 will now be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on February 4th, 2022.
