Minecraft Dungeons is a fun little Diablo like game where you can team up with a few people and dungeon crawl in a world that looks like it's built in Minecraft. It's one of the games my son loves to play from the Xbox Game Pass, but what if you want to own it from another store.
Fear not as Minecraft Dungeons is heading to Stem on September 22nd. There will be two versions: a Standard Edition priced at $19.99 and an Ultimate Edition priced at $39.99. The Ultimate Edition comes with six DLCs as well as a soundtrack and some artwork.
Steam lists it as having cross-platform multiplayer so it looks like you'll be able to play with friends on an Xbox console as well, which is good news.
Earlier today, we announced that Minecraft Dungeons will be available on Steam, September 22.
Both the Standard Edition ($19.99) and Ultimate Edition ($39.99) will be available on the platform, but the Ultimate Edition will also include the base game plus all six DLCs, bonus content like the game soundtrack, and hi-res digital artwork of the game’s DLC settings.
Alongside the upcoming release on Steam, we shared news that three SKUs - the Hero Edition, Hero Pass, and Season Pass - will be discontinued from digital sales from August 31 and will be available in retail stores until stock runs out. Players will still be able to purchase the same DLCs and in-game content, which will be available as part of the Standard Edition (game only) and Ultimate Edition (game and all six DLCs).
