Torn Banner Studios, the team behind the massive multiplayer medieval mayhem that is Chivalry 2, confirmed today that the game has surpassed 1 million sales. As someone who was gladly one of those customers following my positive beta impressions, I‘m glad to see the game is off to a great success. Released in June earlier this year, the game has already received new maps and various content all for free. In their official press release, Torn Banner Studios have promised even more content is to come.
Steve Piggott (president of Torn Banner Studios) had this to say on the game’s success and future content:
“Despite just launching in June, over a million people across five platforms have already played Chivalry II, which tells us how much more potential the game has to grow. We are so happy to have brought Chivalry II’s unique experience of bloody, epic medieval warfare to so many people – and we’re already hard at work expanding the game much, much more.”
Chivalry 2 is as gory as it is fun and is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
