Announced last month with a "Summer 2021" release date, Asassin's Creed Valhalla has pinned down the big day for its next major expansion. That day is set for August 12th, just two weeks away. Along with the Siege of Paris expansion we will also see Season 3, Sigrblot Season, bringing rewards and activities for all players. The Sigrblot Festival is already live as of today and will run through August 19th to see us through the transition.
While the Sigrblot Season includes rewards for all, the content in Siege of Paris is paid DLC, available for $24.99 as a standalone purchase or as part of the Season Pass. The Siege of Paris brings with it the return of Infiltration Missions (similar to the old Black Box Missions) and concentrates on a campaign to lead Eivor to one of the greatest battles in Viking history.
As for the free stuff and the Sigrblot Festival, festive activities are already kicking off in Ravensthorpe like mini-games, three new quests, and limited time rewards like settlement decorations customization items, and even weapons. You will need a Level 2 settlement in-game in order to access the festival. Future updates planned for this season also include a River Raids map pack adding destinations across France and Ireland.
