I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Cris Tales for almost two years. Though I'm not reviewing the game (Elliot has that honor), I have been pretty excited to jump in and check it out.
This first video doesn't get too deep into the battle system. Rather, it is the beginning of a long and involved JRPG, which means that the first hour or two goes hard on the story and Cris Tales' time manipulation mechanics. What you do see here is a lot of beautiful animation and the set up for the epic tale to follow.
I would definitely recommend blowing this one out to full screen and changing the resolution to 1080p.
Cris Tales is now available on PlayStation consoles, Xbox Consoles, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.
