The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are no strangers to fighting games with their first one going all the way back to 1993 with TMNT: Tournament Fighters on the Super NES and Sega Genesis with an NES port coming the following year. They've even had Smash Bros.-esque games such as TMNT: Smash Up on the Nintendo Wii. Now though it's time for another fighting game to feature the Turtles and it actually seems like a pretty good fit.
On June 16th Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join the cast of Brawlhalla and will kick off an in-game event that will feature a new game mode called Crew Battles along with a new K.O. Effect featuring Shredder and the Foot Clan and new Signature attacks by the Turtles themselves. From the trailer Crew Battles looks like a three-on-three mode with up to six players where when one player gets K.O.d they lose a life and move to the back of the line while the next player on that team takes a shot at taking down their opponent. Sounds like an interesting idea and along with the arrival of the Turtles, I might just have to fire Brawlhalla back up again in the near future.
