How to get Resident Evil Village freebies on PS4 and PS5

Resident Evil Village seems to be enjoying a great deal of fanfare right now. The latest instalment in the long-running series has broken series records as far as concurrent players and viewers go. PlayStation fans can also complete a simple set of ‘quests’ to get themselves some freebies on PS4 and PS5. 

  • First of all, head to the PlayStation Resident Evil Village quest page here. 
  • Make sure you’re signed into your PSN account and then click ‘start quest’.
    The quest will then ask you to answer when was the first Resident Evil released on PlayStation?
  • The answer: Resident Evil which released on the original PlayStation on March 22, 1996.
  • After completing this question, you’ll be rewarded with some avatars to use on PS4 and PS5. 
  • To complete the second quest and nab yourself a free PS4 theme, simply watch the trailer for Resident Evil Village and visit the game’s official PlayStation Store page.
