You might need to free up some storage space on your console for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

The next-gen consoles really do represent great value for their prices. In terms of performance, you really cannot fault the sheer horsepower you get from the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, part of the cost-cutting to offer these consoles at an affordable price means that there’s not a great deal of storage. On the PS5, there’s only 667GB of usable storage. Xbox Series X owners get slightly more with 802GB usable storage. 

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will take up 80GB in the US, and a whooping 101GB in the EU. Though, this shouldn’t really come as too much of a shock considering the mammoth amount of content on offer in the updated trilogy. 

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes single-player base content and over 40 DLC from the highly acclaimed Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 games, including promo weapons, armors, and packs — remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD. 

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is slated to release a week from now on May 14 and will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be playable and enhanced on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms via backward compatibility.
