If you've mastered the five D's of dodgeball, you might be ready for this weekend's cross-platform open beta for Knockout City, an upcoming team-based, dodgeball-inspired multiplayer action game. Electronic Arts and Velan Studios announced the beta will take place today through Sunday (April 2-4) and will be open to all players worldwide to download and play on consoles and PC via Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
In the Cross-Play open beta, players will have access to everything from the first beta -- the Moon, Cage and Bomb Balls, the Concussion Yard, Rooftop Rumble, and Knockout Roundabout locations and Team KO playlist -- and more new content. This weekend will introduce the Sniper Ball, Back Alley Brawl map, 1v1 Face-Off, and Diamond Dash playlists. Private Matches will also be available to set up custom matches against friends, or some foes.
Here is the playlist schedule for the weekend:
Additionally, for participation in the beta, players will receive the Beta Blue Booster Glider to fly in style as well as the Beta Brawler Player Icon when they return for the game's launch on May 21.
Ready? Dodgeball.
