I probably shouldn't have been so surprised when Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition arrived on the Stadia store today. The game has made the rounds on just about every console and platform, and Square-Enix has shown a willingness to port its games over to Stadia on a regular basis.
But I still rocked back in my seat a little bit and whispered "Whoa" when I saw the press release. I still haven't played Dragon Quest XI. I want it, right? But do I have time for it? I still need to finish my "just for fun" second run through Bravely Default II. But I'm going to get it, aren't I? Yeah, I think I am (clicks "Buy" button).
I've been a little out of touch the last couple of days, so I wasn't sure where the whole Terraria saga stood - but it seems that the game is still coming to Stadia, and is scheduled to arrive on March 18. So that all seems cool.
Also arriving on March 18 is FIFA 21 - with the Stadia crew inviting players to face off against them. You can sign up for that event here. Oh, and we are in the midst of a NBA 2K21 free play week - so if you like 2K and don't own it on Stadia, hop on in from now until 9AM PT, Tuesday March 23.
