Fans have been clamoring for a remaster of Diablo II for a long time now and rumors of it being worked on has been talked about for years. Well, it's finally happened as Blizzard finally unveiled Diablo II: Resurrected and it's coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch.
Both the main game and the DLC, Lord of Destruction is in this remaster and you can see how much they've improved on the graphics. Everything looks nicer, cleaner, and runs smoother.
Now, Blizzard did have some issues with their last remaster, Warcraft III: Reforged. Let's just say the fans didn't like what Blizzard did in bringing this game back for the current generation. So, you can understand a lot of people's hesitation when they see this and are hesitant to get to excited.
Nevertheless, I'm going to go into this remaster with an open mind and hope for the best. Also, the game will support cross progression so you can play on one system and continue on another, which is really awesome!
The game's due out sometime in 2021 and you can sign up now to try and get into the alpha test.
