Stadia has gone absolutely bonkers in December. The platform used to release a game or two every couple of weeks, but these days the games are coming so quickly that I'm having to bunch them all up together in one big post. The old "Where are the games?" complaints have been effectively silenced, I suppose.
Here's what's new on Stadia this week:
Cyberpunk 2077 - You all know this one, right? Cyberpunk 2077 releases at 4 PM PT on December 9 on Stadia.
New THQ Nordic games - SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated and Destroy All Humans! Both games are currently available at discounted prices. SpongeBob is $23.99, and Destroy all Humans is $31.99. Pretty fair prices for both of those games.
Figment - a new musical adventure game developed by Bedtime Digital Games. This is one lively looking trailer, with dialogue straight from a movie musical and visuals that look like a children's book come to life. If you haven't seen this, take a second and check it out. Figment is retailing for $11.99 - which is listed as a special launch price.
Valkyria Chronicles 4: Complete Edition - The fantastical, vaguely WWII-based tactical RPG from SEGA is currently retailing for $49.99, complete with all of the DLC from the original release.
Also coming soon are Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, and new indie snowy combat title Unto the End:
Stadia is making all the moves lately, from releasing to eight new European countries (Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, or Switzerland), to unleashing direct-to-YouTube streaming for all users. And that's just today! Who knows what Stadia will do for the rest of the week?
Keep an eye on GN for Stadia news as it develops.
