Ghost of Tsushima is officially the first winner of The Game Awards 2020. A publicly held vote, with millions of votes counted, saw Ghost of Tsushima beating out The Last of Us: Part II to win the Player’s Voice award for 2020.
We ourselves awarded Ghost of Tsushima a score of 9.5/10 when GamingNexus reviewed it earlier this year. We summarised, “Ghost of Tsushima is a beautifully crafted adventure that distinguishes itself as one of the great titles of this console generation.”
Congratulations to the whole team at Sucker Punch on their first win at The Game Awards. The public have spoken and it’s clear Ghost of Tsushima was received just as well by the public as it was by us and other reviewers. Ghost of Tsushima is also up for a number of rewards at the actual show.
The Game Awards show streams this upcoming Thursday, December 10. Visit the official website of The Game Awards for all relevant details.
