I know I'm not alone when I say this, but I've really gotta make time to play Persona 5. I've had a copy for well over a year, but the game's length and depth have intimidated me into not actually starting yet. I'd love to get some time in with Persona 5 before the February 23, 2021 release of Persona 5 Strikers, because this new trailer looks stunningly cool:
Really stylish and cool, right? Of course, the trailer doesn't really do a lot to explain what type of game Persona 5 Strikers really is. From what I can tell, Strikers will be an action RPG, with some strategic elements.
According to the game's website, players can "attack enemies in the hybrid battle system that fuses explosive action-combat with pause-and-plan sequences to decide your next strategic move. Gain an advantage over your enemies by ambushing them, striking their elemental weaknesses to knock them down, and deal the finishing blow with an All-Out Attack!"
Pre-orders for Persona 5 Strikers begin on December 10 at 4 PM PST here. Strikers will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. I'm going to be keeping an eye on this one - it looks incredible.
