So, what are you playing?

I'm going through Demon's Souls end game/new game+ as I'm going for the platinum trophy. As I said in my review, it really is an outstanding launch game. I took a break, however, to test out Bloodborne on the PS5 via backwards compatibility and ended up wrapping up a few things to get the platinum trophy for that too!
So, yeah, it's been a...stressful but rewarding time as far as gaming goes for me. Though, I do play a little Bugsnax in the mornings to mellow me out!

After my mad dash through console release titles, I have been chilling out a little bit and playing games more for fun. I've gone back into Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, and have been cleaning up side missions and collectables. I've been enjoying dipping between the two games, and checking out the differences between New York in summertime and in its Christmas decorated state. Just swinging around in these games is a pleasure.
My second controller arrived finally, so I've dipped back into Sackboy: A Big Adventure to play through the multiplayer-specific areas with my daughter. Like the rest of the game, these levels are beautiful, clever, and fun. This step into multiplayer also set us up for our current playthrough of PHOGS!, which is still under embargo. I can't say much about it, but we're playing it!
I've also gotten access to a couple of unreleased/unannounced Stadia games, but I can't talk about those. Forget I said anything. Move along. Nothing to see here.

I know, I said I was going to get VR going on my PC again last weekend. I was going to check out Half-Life: Alyx a week ago. But then a funny thing happened on the way to Skyrim, you see, and I rolled up a fresh character because all my old saves got wiped during the new PC build, and so there I was, taking that ol' wagon ride into Helgen for the millionth time. Considering those one million aforementioned playthroughs, however, I've never been a pure mage build. I've never even gone through the College of Winterhold before. So, after nine years of Skyrim, that's what this latest vanilla, slow play, no commentary, survival mode playthrough will be. Time to enroll in wizard school.
