Override 2: Super Mech League just had an open beta last weekend, and my son and I hopped in and ran around for about an hour. Though we had a few camera issues on one particular level, the game looked pretty good. This was a beta, after all, and there is still time to clean stuff like that up.
Fresh off of that beta, the team at Modus Games Brazil has released a new trailer, showing off Ultraman (who was not available as a playable character in the beta), and his mech-kung-fu gameplay. Take a look:
Also tucked into that trailer is a specific release date for Override 2, December 22. Like the first game in the franchise, Override 2 supports 2-4 player local and online multiplayer, and can be quite a lot of fun when you have a bunch of friends clanging away at each other.
Override 2: Super Mech League will release on PC, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with the PS4 version getting a free upgrade to PS5. Pre-order the game at Modus Games' site here.
