May 21st. That's the big day when Bethesda's time-bending PS5 and PC exclusive Deathloop is set to release. Putting aside for the moment whether something that is actually coming to two platforms is really an "exclusive" (the marketing refers to is as console exclusive), there are also two versions of the game, Standard and Deluxe, because it's 2020 and of course there is a Deluxe version. Pre-ordering will grant you a character skin, one in-game buff called a Trinket, and on PS5 even a unique weapon. Upgrading to the Deluxe Edition also nets you:
All pre-order bonuses outlined above
Eat The Rich Tribunal Unique Weapon
.44 Karat Fourpounder Unique Weapon
"Party Crasher" Colt Character Skin
"Sharp Shooter" Julianna Character Skin
Original Game Soundtrack Selections
Two Trinkets (equippable in-game buffs)
The Prey inspired Unique Weapon, Transtar Trencher (PlayStation 5 Exclusive)
Deathloop will hit that May 21 release at $60 for the Standard Edition and $80 for the Deluxe. More details can be found on Bethesda's official site. Pre-orders are available on the Playstation Store for PS5 (and there's 10% off presently), and for now Bethesda.net for PC. Steam pre-orders will be coming soon.
