The first day of Stadia's "Good Stuff" promotion was a little weird and a little chaotic. What the event ended up being was a five-minute promo video with some pretty spastic editing and overly enthusiastic streamers, hollering about a few new releases. Check it out here if you missed it:
The first reveal was the release date (November 24) of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was nice, but we already knew the game was coming eventually. Stadia also announced an interesting new game in the Hello Neighbor series which focuses on...building stuff? Battling with the stuff you built? It's all a little unclear, but the game is called Hello Engineer.
But the biggest news coming out of the event was the free demo of PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle, which is available until October 27. You can play that demo right now by clicking here. The full game will eventually retail for $19.99. Here's the trailer for that game, if you don't feel like wading through the five minute video above (no word on if House of Pain got any royalties for the obvious use of their lyrics from Jump Around):
We'll be back tomorrow with another recap from Day 2 of the Good Stuff event.
