Since its debut at E3 2019, Deathloop has promised some interesting, time-bending gameplay. In the latest trailer from the PS5 showcase, how this is going to be pulled off is starting to come to light. You have 8 targets spread throughout the island, it's easy enough to mow through some henchmen and take out 1, but then 7 more are going about their business and the 1 just spawns again next loop. However, but short circuiting some earlier goals you can push targets together, two birds with one stone, just like the trailer title.
There is still much to learn about Deathloop before its Q2 2021 release, but gameplay reveals like this make the game all the more interesting in that lead up.
