More than a whisper of a dream, Iron Harvest is about to really become a thing, a game you can play even. This game has been on the radar of some of us in the staff room since 2018 where it started as a kickstarter project earlier that year. Well the official release on Steam is less than two weeks away with pre-purchase available now for a September 1 play date.

Planegg, Germany – August 20, 2020 – Deep Silver and KING Art Games today released a new Iron Harvest trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the rich and atmospheric storytelling of Iron Harvest. Following the three factions, Polania, Saxony and Rusviet, and their unique heroes, the video showcases how each dive deeper and deeper into the evolving conflict. Alongside today’s video the digital gamescom content for the upcoming classic RTS was confirmed.
Iron Harvest will be part of thegamescom.global experience starting next week. Visitors of the unique digital-only event can join Iron Harvest in the Koch Media section ongamescom.global and explore unique streaming-content, game information and much more.
Kicking off on the 27th and running through the 30th, fans will also see the maiden Iron Harvest eSports finals. In cooperation with ESL and TaKeTV, Deep Silver and KING Art games are hosting an extended competition featuring two days of group play and one day for the Playoffs to determine the first ever Iron Harvestgamescom 2020 champion.

The participants are a mixed group composed of the four winners from the ESL Iron Harvest Pre-Season Cups and four selected RTS pro players. Casting the games will be a selected group of eSports casters joined by experts from the Iron Harvest team. The full list of participants will be announced after the final qualifier on theIron Harvest channels.
