In a livestreamed "Panel from Hell" yesterday, Larian Studios announced that their highly anticipated RPG Baldur's Gate 3 will be entering Early Access on PC and Stadia on September 30.
In addition to that announcement, Larian revealed the remainder of Baldur's Gate 3's six-minute intro video, showed a super-gross new gameplay snippet featuring a living brain (without a body) known as an Intellect Devourer, and let the crowd watching make some truly terrible decisions while negotiating with a goblin.
The entire panel can be viewed here:
The panel also revealed the five Origin characters that will be available at Early Access launch. These include Astarion (Elf/Vampire Rogue), Gale (Human Wizard), Lae’zel (Githyanki Warrior), Shadowheart (Half-Elf Cleric), Wyll (Human Warlock) - with more to be announced as the Early Access period continues.
The game is looking great, and we can't wait to check it out.
