National Nightmare over: Halo 3 beta now available for all

Bungie has updated their site with the news that everyone who has Crackdown should now be able to download the Halo 3 beta.  Bungie is also extending the beta four more days to compensate for the time lost today   I did manage to locate this picture of a Halo fanboy, hopefully they'll be able to dry their eyes now.
