Well this was a nice surprise. Spider-Man: Miles Morales was announced yesterday during the PlayStation 5 extravaganza and the fine folks at Insomniac Games. Teased in the previous game, Miles is getting a title of his own.
From the trailer, you can see he's got two of his signature comic book powers. First, he can control the electrical current in his body. Called bio-electrokenisis, Miles can stun enemies this way.
Second, he can go all predator like by becoming invisible. If you watched the Into the Spider-Verse movie, you'll know this was a major component of Miles' character and one of the powers that separates him from Peter Parker.
Needless to say, a lot of people are excited to see Miles, especially with how great Insomniac did with the previous game.
