Today on Twitter, Stadia announced a new Stadia Connect event. No details about what will be shared are available, but the fan community is going bonkers trying to predict what new features and games will be highlighted in the event. The event will take place this Tuesday, April 28th, at 9 AM Pacific/ 12 PM Eastern.
Stadia also announced two more classic games that will soon be making their way to the platform.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is one of the recent top-down Tomb Raider spin-off games. I've never dug into these titles, but they do look neat. Here's some copy from the recent Stadia Community Blog post:
Crystal Dynamics is proud to bring you Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. This all-new adventure takes place in the Temple of Osiris, hidden deep in the deserts of Egypt. Featuring stunning visuals and a brand-new story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights.
Features:
Even more interesting is the release of Kona, the atmospheric Canadian mystery from a few years back. I've been wanting to dig into this thing forever, and it looks like I'll soon have my chance.
Northern Canada, 1970. A strange blizzard ravages Atamipek Lake. Step into the shoes of private detective Carl Faubert to explore the desolate village, investigate surreal events, and battle the frigid elements. KONA is a game submerged in mystery and intrigue, one with a spine-tingling narrative and unflinching drama that unfolds building the tension throughout.
