With the release of Cyberpunk 2077 fast approaching, Microsoft and CD PROJEKT RED have teamed up to release an impressive new Xbox One X bundle. Designed to evoke the themes of Cyberpunk's main location, Night City, the console features LEDs, custom panels, glow in the dark elements, and some color shift effects. The console also includes a custom controller, styled in a half-cybernetic, half-natural look to emulate Cyberpunk's dashing Johnny Silverhand character.
The bundle is set to release in June 2020. It includes the console, controller, a code for Cyberpunk 2077, and some other unannounced items that will be revealed in the months to come. If you're looking to just get a piece of the set, the controller will be available for purchase separately. Microsoft has also confirmed that this bundle will be the last Xbox One X bundle of the console generation, with the Series X set to release in the next year. Also, only 45,000 units will be available, so it could be a highly contested product.
Even as late as it is in the Xbox One X's life-cycle, the look of this console and controller have me pretty tempted to break open the piggy bank for this bundle. Even as a collector's item, this bundle would look pretty good on my bookshelf.
