If you're a fan of the Cult of Razer lifestyle (or if you're like me and just, y'know, enjoy the products) you'll be happy to know that Razer just announced the DeathAdder V2 and the Basilisk V2, both upgraded and raising the bar for gaming mice—as is Razer's usual claim to fame.
The DeathAdder V2 brings back the best of its predecessor in its ergonomic design, suitable for both claw- and palm-grip styles. It is still customizable with Razer Synapse (with 8 programmable buttons) and Razer Chroma. It now features Razer's Focus+ Optical Sensor, Optical Mouse Switches, and Speedflex Cable. It also apparently has a new sweat-resistant coating (thank god) and an improved scroll wheel. It's currently retailing for $69.99 USD.
The Basilisk V2 features many of the same upgrades as the DeathAdder V2, but also boasts 11 programmable buttons as well as customizable scroll wheel resistance. It's currently going for $79.99 USD.
