A YouTube channel that I enjoy watching is The Gaming Historian, a series by creator Norman Caruso that takes an in-depth look at various games, accessories, and other bits of video game history. In the past he's done videos on games such as Super Mario Bros. 2 and the history of Tetris in the US, as well as obscurities such as the Aladdin Deck Enhancer. Yesterday he released his video on Super Mario Bros. 3 and I got the chance to sit down and watch it last night. For nearly fifty minutes Norman goes through the game's history, the hype surrounding it, and how it was created. For anyone who's into video game history and especially Super Mario Bros. 3, I definitely recommend giving this video a watch.
