A little over two months after the release on consoles and PC, WRC 8 is ready to hit the portable market on the Nintendo Switch. This iteration of rally racing brings all new car and surface physics, dynamic weather conditions for each country, and an overall overhaul striving for "true simulation-based gameplay" according to the press release. And critics agree, Eric gave it an 8.5 on PS4 in his review, and the versions are holding strong in the high 70's in the Metacritic aggregate ratings.
WRC 8 features 52 international teams, 100 stages across 14 countries, and a wide array of classic rally cars. It has a re-built Career putting the focus on steady progression over seasons as well as managing their team: planning their calendar, managing the crew, recruiting new members.
Out since September on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, WRC 8 releases for the Switch on November 19th. It's available now for pre-purchase at $49.99.
