We've heard rumblings for a while that Dontnod's Victorian Nosferatu horror adventure, Vampyr, was headed to Switch. Well now you can plan on swilling down some fine artery-aged plasma (O negative of course) in between handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, as the game is arriving on Switch on October 29th.
Vampyr was critically acclaimed when it arrived last June (GN score 8.0), praised for its branching storyline, where feeding on NPCs could dramatically affect both the plot and your character's sanity. However it had some troubles with bugs, tedious combat and difficulty balance that Dontnod have since tried to address with patches. I'm hoping that the Switch port is smooth and well-optimized, as I've been holding out on buying this one until it came to Switch.
