The first Everspace game was a bit of a surprise for me. Sure the game looked pretty but there was a depth there that I wasn't expecting when I first played it back in 2017. Now that Rockfish Games has ported the game to all of the major platforms they have turned their sites to Everspace 2 which is set to hit all of the major platforms by the end of 2021 though PC gamers will get a chance to check out the early access version of the game in the back half of 2020.
The team at Rockfish is promising more of everything - more story, more ships, more weapons, and a bigger open world for players to explore. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one given how great the first one was. Check out this let's play of the game that was released today to see why.
