Doom Eternal is arriving this November and will include a new multiplayer mode called "Battlemode". This mode was shown off at E3 and Quake Con but Bethesda has released a new trailer giving us the full rundown of the game mode.
In the rundown they show off three playable demons including the Pain Elemental, Revenant and the Mancubus. Demons of course have their own special abilities but they can also drop traps and summon demons to go after the Doom Slayer as well. The Doom Slayer is fully upgraded with tons of health and armor. Just like single player they will need to glory kill demons to replenish health and armor. The goal of the game is for the demons to eliminate the Doom Slayer. If the Doom Slayer kills a demon, they then have 20 seconds to kill the other demon to win. Matches are best of 5 rounds.
Battlemode will launch with five playable demons, six maps and all future maps and demons will be free to everyone who owns the game.
Doom Eternal launches on November 22nd for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch and Stadia.
