Frozenbyte and Modus Games have just dropped a gorgeous gameplay trailer for Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince that not only gives us more of a peek at how the game will look and play, but also finally reveals the release date: October 8 for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC.
In the below trailer, we get to see the four player co-op feature for the first time, as well as new physics puzzles and fantastical environments. An all-new and improved combat system will have players vanquishing enemies left and right. When all of that comes together, we get the biggest (and best, according to the developers) Trine yet with more gameplay than Trine 1, 2, and 3.
The October 8 release date coincides with the release date of Trine: Ultimate Collection, which bundles all four games as well as a code for the original soundtrack, a digital art book, a physical world map, and a collector's reversible cover sheet. Preorders are available for both the collection and Trine 4, and no matter which version you preorder you will receive a bonus cloth promo poster and the Toby's Dream DLC level. You'll be able to get your hands on Trine 4 and the Ultimate Collection for $29.99 and $49.99, respectively.
