Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat League begins tomorrow

Mortal Kombat 11 is getting a new online mode starting tomorrow called the Kombat League. The first season will be titled the "Season of Blood" and players will compete in ranked matches that are part of four week seasons in order to try and climb up the nine rankings from Apprentice to Elder God. As you rank up, you will earn rewards including new skins for Kitana, Skarlet, Erron Black and Scorpion.

The rewards are also cumulative and the higher tier you reached by the end of the season is the rewards you will be guaranteed even if you drop in rank. The best part is that you will be matched up with players of your own skill level which should make playing online a lot more fun. 

Along with the start of the Kombat League, some new DLC will be released as well. First off the first Kombat Pack character, Shang Tsung will be available for Kombat Pack owners as part of their one week early access. Also available is the Klassic Arcade Ninja skin pack containing three new skins for Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot.
