This past week, Deep Silver and inXile Entertainment released Wasteland 3's official E3 trailer. In line with the franchise's post-apocalyptic theme, the third installment of the Wasteland franchise is set in the barren Colorado tundra and returns the notorious Desert Rangers.
The Wasteland series is a turn-based, squad-focused roleplaying game that features challenging tactical combat, immersive gameplay with hours of exploration, and a rich, dynamic storyline that reacts to your tough decisions. Choose between single-player and co-op and lead a squad of up to six rangers.
Oh, did I mention there's a battle truck? Yep. There's a battle truck.
The initial Wasteland dates back to 1988, while Wasteland 3's direct predecessor - Wasteland 2 - was released in 2014. Approximately six years later, Wasteland 3 will be arriving in Spring 2020 on Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, Windows, Mac, and Linux.
