Father's day is this Sunday, and Nintendo has the perfect gift idea: a Switch, of course! This new ad shows several kids enjoying Switch games with their fathers, including Fortnite, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Super Mario Maker 2. It's a surprisingly touching little spot that reminds you that good old dad always had your back, so why not give him the gift of Nintendo?
To be honest I'm not sure if my father Mark would really get into a Nintendo Switch. He's definitely the guy who got me into gaming at the tender age of 2, with the genre-defining Star Raiders on the Atari 800 computer. That said he considers most modern games to be "more like work than relaxation," and at times I can't really argue!
Dad's honestly been more of a PC gamer than a console guy, but who knows, maybe I can interest him in Doom on Switch. He did bring home the original back in 1993, much to the chagrin of my mother.
Regardless, spare a thought for your dads this weekend, and if he is into gaming, why not make him your player 2?
