Microsoft announced the release date for Gears 5 along with announcing a brand new three player game mode called "Escape". In Escape you have to get in, plant a bomb and get out before it explodes.
Gears 5 launches on September 10th. Those who are Xbox Games Pass Ultimate owners will be able to play the game four days early.
