Bethesda has a Fallout 76 PayPal issue on its hands

So, a couple weeks back Bethesda, in an Inside the Vault post, hinted strongly that a form of pay-to-win was likely coming to Fallout 76 with the ability to purchase repair kits with Atoms.  One key component of this, will be the ability to use real-world currency to purchase Atoms in order to buy the repair kits along with any cosmetic items you may want to add to your collection.  However, one form of payment suddenly is causing issues, as Bethesda tweeted out this morning that PayPal is not completing for purchasing Atoms:

Per the official forum post, it doesn't sound optimistic that a fix will be coming any time soon as they reference a "date" to fix the issue, as in days, not hours.  However, they are proposing a workaround, which indicates there is some in-game coding issues within the Atomic Shop that is causing conflicts between the payment options:

Hi everyone,

We’re currently aware of an issue that may prevent purchases of Atoms using real money from completing successfully if PayPal is selected as your payment option in the Atomic Shop. We’re investigating this now and working to address this issue as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can work around this by ensuring the “Save PayPal for future purchases” box is checked on the Payment Details screen. Once this box is checked, your purchase should complete successfully.

We do not currently have a date to share for a fix, but will let you know as soon as we’ve resolved the issue.

Thank you very much!

Hopefully this will get corrected soon enough and before the Patch 9 drops in May when people will be able to buy there way into a better situation in-game.
