Apex Legends received and update today that was supposed to squash a few bugs, update some UI and user controls and make several quality of life improvements. unfortunately, it seems it also introduced a very nasty side effect that is impacting account progress possibly tied to buying and crafting:
While not much is known about the bug and when it might be fixed (it has been going on for over two hours now), the best advice may be to simply stay out of the game if you don't want to deal with it. Keep an eye on the Apex Legends Twitter feed for updates as to when it may be safe to jump back in.
