If you think you're ready for the DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game, I'll wager one milk-spraying cow udder jetpack and a farm animal Voltron that you're not.
DEEEER Simulator (I have to count out those four E's every time as I'm typing it) throws you into the skins of different deer in a polygonal SimCity seemingly inspired by both Goat Simulator and Everything.
Developed by the one-man Japanese developer, Naspapa Games, you're given free reign to tear through a city and its surrounding countryside, causing general mayhem, and dealing with the wanton destruction caused by a polar bear in a World War II tank, a hippo being carried around by Emperor penguins with a minigun in its mouth, and a killer whale tornado that may or may not have anything to do with the chainsaw hovering above your antlers. For some reason, the most unexpected thing I saw in this video was the top-down game of Othello, I think, using Holstein cows for game pieces. And when you see the simple act of a bipedal deer mounting and riding a horse, you'll realize just how much unexplored territory there is left in video games as a whole.
DEEEER Simulator has already made some crowdfunding bucks (ha, "bucks"), especially in Japan, but there are a few days left in a Kickstarter campaign that is mainly helping the developer to lean in to the game's weirdness. Naspapa Games asked for approximately $9,000 on Japanese crowdfunding site Campfire and earned that in one day. The American Kickstarter campaign is asking for about half that amount.
DEEEER Simulator is coming to Steam sometime here in 2019.

This game is being developed by a single solitary 24-year-old Japanese developer, with the desire to reach the world and have everyone enjoy the games he made, Keisuke Abe turned to the deer. After a preview tweet of this game went viral, Keisuke dived into the raw insanity that everyone craved.
During the Kickstarter campaign, I AM BREAD joined in, with an official collaboration in the works, the world of DEEEER Simulator is about to get more delicious exciting!

DEEEER Simulator: Your average Everyday Deer Game is a game planned for release on Steam in which you take on the role of a deer as the main character.
It is also currently running a crowdfunding campaign in Japan, where it hit its full funding goal of 1 million yen (approx. $9,000/£6,000) on Japanese crowdfunding site Campfire in a single day. The campaign has currently generated over 4 million yen (approx. $36,000/£24,000) in funding.
Through cooperation with Bossa Studios, an official collaboration with hit indie title I AM BREAD has also been confirmed, with the titular Bread set to make a cameo appearance in DEEEER Simulator.
