Nintendo Download for 3/14/2019: Angels, yo-yos, and Chocobos...oh my?
Okay, so my headlines need some work, what else is new? Anyway, this week's Nintendo Download features the Nintendo Online service as well as the upcoming Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! (no seriously, that's how it's stylized). Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! is a port of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon that was released back on the Nintendo Wii in 2008 and it also got a DS port in Japan. The game features randomly generated dungeons and turn-based battles, but the Switch remaster will also have a new buddy system. The game has one simple rule: every time you enter, the world around you will change shape, but it only moves whenever you move. The Switch remaster (and PS4 remaster as well) launches March 20th.
Over on the Nintendo Online service we saw the release of Kid Icarus and Star Tropics while Kirby's Adventure and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link received the SP treatment. The special version of Kirby's Adventure starts off at the title screen with a 100% save file which lets you play the Extra Game right from the start. The Extra Game is a bit more challenging as you only have a max of three health instead of the usual six. the SP version of Zelda II starts you off with all three of Link's stats maxed out at 8 (attack, life, and magic) as well as every spell in the game. However, you still have to find the four extra magic containers and heart containers as well as clear the first six palaces before entering the Great Palace (note that with your magic stat at 8, you have sixty-four magic points which is exactly enough to cast the most powerful spell Thunder).

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new games weekly to Nintendo eShop, which offers a variety of options for the Nintendo Switch console, the Wii U console and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be loaded in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch, Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but can be used in any Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Account.
Customers in the U.S. and Canada ages 18 and older can also link a PayPal account to their Nintendo Account to purchase digital games and content for the Nintendo Switch system both on-device and from the Nintendo website. Once the accounts are linked, users may also use PayPal as a payment option when buying digital content for the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family systems from the Nintendo website.
